Renewable Materials Conference

The Renewable Materials Conference (RMC) is a major annual event organised by the nova-Institute that brings together global stakeholders working to replace fossil-based carbon with renewable alternatives such as biomass, CO₂ utilisation, and recycling. Over three days, participants from industry, research, policy, and business explore the full value chain of renewable materials—from feedstocks and processing technologies to sustainable polymers and circular solutions, through presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

A dedicated highlight of the conference is Biodegradation Day, a full day focused entirely on biodegradable materials. This thematic program explores the science, standards, environmental impact, and market development of biodegradable and compostable solutions, bringing together experts from academia, industry, and policy. The day provides in-depth insights into biodegradation testing, regulatory frameworks, and real-world applications, creating a focused platform for advancing sustainable material innovation.
