Our Policy & Advocacy Work Stream is centered around informing and educating stakeholders, including policymakers, worldwide to enable scientifically sound policies for a circular and sustainable economy; mitigating pollution, reducing greenhouse gases and promoting bio-based and biodegradable materials.

Science, Systems & Programs
The Science, Systems & Programs Work Stream works on advancing the fundamental understanding of bio-based, biodegradable and compostable materials, products and systems across all scientific disciplines. This group also collects and converts scientific understanding into insights for the other work streams.
Communication & Education
This work stream is all about building a strong community for internal and external stakeholders that seek connection and partnership. We create and disseminate valuable resources to raise awareness and deepen the understanding of bio-based and biodegradable materials in circular and sustainable systems.
